Superfund developer Cbus Property, in conjunction with its local partners Nielson Properties and the Raniga family, is pushing ahead with a major Brisbane project, lodging plans for a $600 million office tower – The Australian Financial Review reports.
The 3000 square meter site, created from the amalgamation of properties at 205 North Quay and 30 Herschel Street will deliver 50,000 square meters of net lettable river font space.
The design for the riverfront tower has been put together by architecture firms Hassell, New York-based REX and Brisbane’s Richards & Spence.
It includes a whole-floor wellness facility, 25-metre lap pool, childcare facilities, a public realm auditorium, outdoor terraces on every level, and rooftop facilities
Furthermore the development which will be known as “205 North Quay” is targeting 6 Green Star and 5.5 Star NABERS Energy ratings.
Despite current market conditions, with developers such as Mirvac, Charter Hall, Dexus, Investa and now Cbus continuing to back the play with major projects such as these, the outlook for Brisbane city is bright.
